The stage of history replays the ignorance of old, “1 Corinthians 2:8 – None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”
Somewhere, just ahead, but not quite yet in view, there is another plan and another power, the power of the Creator Himself, who is not swayed by the demands of the unruly. He knows our ignorance and tolerates it but for a while. He shall not be patient forever. He will not allow the destruction of the world he has created. Justice will come, by the hands of our government if it will step up to the plate, or by divine intervention. But is will come.
The end of violence is violence. The end of rage is rage. It is self-defeating and circular – it will turn back on itself.
