FREEDOM
This is The United States of America,
and it is about –
FREEDOM
We were born of rebellion from the King who owned all things and presumed to take care of all things. We asserted a new philosophy of being, that all men were created equal before the law, and that the structures of privilege and title did not exist in this new land. We were all free to own property, to acquire from it its product, its wealth and its value.
We are free to gain from our own effort, education, property, family, wealth, value and whatever we choose to pursue. Nothing will be given from the King, nor restricted from us because of our status before the King. We are free, each individual, to gain a return on our energy, work and effort without interference from the King.
It’s about freedom to do, to have and to gain the rewards of our labor. It’s about freedom from the privilege of class, royalty, knighthood or anything granted from or by the King to a privileged few. Opportunity is an equalizer for all men, should they pursue it.
No one, in this great land, has the right of grants from the king or the government. Government exists to protect our rights to pursue, to do, to create and the have the rewards of our labor. Everything we gain will be from our own hand not from the hand of the king or government. We are free, and that implies freedom from government intervention, from government privilege or government dole.
We fought a great war to secure this freedom and should not fight another one. We should bask in the wonder of freedom, where everyone can excel to the best of their ability, by the exertion of their effort and for their ownership of their reward.
Government is thus the servant of the people, not it lord not its source of reward. We the people, are free to create our own reward, to live our own lives and to rise to the height of our own genius, our own uniqueness and our own investment of effort.
Let us never allow this great land to be dominated by the all-powerful king again. Let us live free from the need for government intrusion into our daily affairs, our personal efforts and our rewards.
This is the egis of America. This is our heritage. This is our freedom. It is ours so long as we are willing to fight for it and to maintain it.
Rise up and claim your freedom and pursue your dream and create your reward. Nothing less is worthy of the value of this thing called FREEDOM. It is ours to have, to hold and to pursue.
